Shipping & Delivery Policy – Canada

All orders are shipped from Japan to customers in Canada.

We currently ship only to addresses within Canada.

By placing an order on our store, you agree to the shipping and delivery terms below.


1. Shipping Area

  • We ship to residential and business addresses within Canada.
  • We do not ship to P.O. boxes, freight forwarding services, or addresses outside Canada at this time.

2. Shipping Methods & Fees

We offer two shipping options from Japan to Canada:

  1. Standard Shipping – Japan Post International ePacket Light (Tracked)
  2. Express Shipping – Japan Post EMS (Tracked & Insured)

Both methods include tracking.

Shipping fees

  • Standard Shipping (International ePacket Light)
    • The cost of standard shipping from Japan to Canada is included in the product prices displayed on our website.
    • No additional standard shipping fee is charged at checkout.
  • Express Shipping (EMS upgrade)
    • If you need faster delivery, you can upgrade to EMS for an additional 34.90 CAD per order.
    • Total cost with EMS = product price (including standard shipping) + 34.90 CAD EMS upgrade fee.

If your order does not meet the size/weight requirements for International ePacket Light,

we may ship by EMS or another equivalent service at our discretion, at no extra cost to you for standard shipping.


3. Standard Shipping – International ePacket Light (Included)

Method

  • Japan Post International ePacket Light (small packet, tracked).
  • Final delivery in Canada is usually handled by Canada Post.

Shipping fee

  • The cost of this standard shipping method is already included in the product prices shown on our website.
  • You will not be charged a separate standard shipping fee at checkout.

Estimated delivery time (after dispatch)

  • Vancouver area: approx. up to 14 to 21 business days
  • Montreal area and other major cities: approx. up to 14 to 21 business days
  • Remote or rural areas may require additional time.

Delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

They do not include our internal processing time or any customs-related delays.


4. Express Shipping – EMS (Upgrade +34.90 CAD)

Method

  • Japan Post EMS (Express Mail Service) – tracked and insured.
  • Priority handling and faster transit than ePacket Light.
  • Final delivery is usually handled by Canada Post or a partner courier.

Upgrade fee

  • Additional 34.90 CAD per order.
  • Total cost = product price (which already includes standard shipping) + 34.90 CAD EMS upgrade fee.

Estimated delivery time (after dispatch)

  • Vancouver area: approx. up to 7 to 14 business days
  • Montreal area and other major cities: approx. up to 7 to 14 business days
  • Remote or rural areas may require additional time.

Delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by customs inspections, weather, or carrier conditions.


5. Order Processing Time

  • We usually ship orders within 2–4 business days after payment is confirmed.
  • Orders are processed Monday–Friday (Japan time), excluding Japanese public holidays.
  • During busy periods (new product launches, holidays, etc.), processing times may be longer.

6. Tracking Information

  • A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has been shipped.
  • Please allow up to 24–48 hours for tracking information to update on the carrier’s website.
  • If you do not receive a shipping confirmation email, please check your spam/junk folder or contact us.

7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes (Canada)

  • All orders are shipped from Japan.
  • Our product prices (including standard shipping) do not include:
    • Import duties
    • GST/HST
    • PST
    • Brokerage or handling fees
    • Any other customs-related charges

When your order arrives in Canada, the carrier (usually Canada Post for Japan Post shipments) may:

  • Assess and collect import duties and taxes on behalf of the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and provincial tax authorities, and
  • Charge an additional handling or processing fee for customs clearance (often around 10 CAD, but the exact amount is set by the carrier and may change without notice).

These duties, taxes, and handling/processing fees are not included in our product prices or shipping options and are the full responsibility of the customer.

We do not collect these amounts at checkout, and we are unable to refund any duties, taxes, or fees charged by customs or carriers.

Please check with CBSA, Canada Post, or your local tax authority for the most up-to-date information before placing an order.


8. Incorrect Address, Delivery Failure, and Returned Parcels

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, including:

  • Apartment/unit number
  • Buzzer or access codes
  • Correct postal code and province

If a parcel is returned to us due to:

  • Incorrect or incomplete address
  • Failure to pick up the parcel or respond to delivery attempts
  • Refusal to pay import duties, taxes, or handling fees

then, when the parcel arrives back in Japan:

  • We can reship the order if you pay the actual reshipping cost, or
  • We may offer a partial refund of the product price only, minus:
    • Any return shipping or handling fees charged by the carrier

If the carrier abandons or destroys the parcel because it was unclaimed or refused, no refund may be possible.

9. Delays, Lost, or “Delivered but Not Received” Parcels

We are not responsible for delays caused by:

  • Customs inspection
  • Carriers (Japan Post, Canada Post, or partner couriers)
  • Weather, strikes, or other events outside our control

If your parcel is delayed or tracking has not updated for a long time:

  • Please contact us with your order number and tracking number.
  • We will open an investigation with the carrier.
  • Depending on the result, we may offer a replacement, partial refund, or full refund in line with our Return & Refund Policy.

If tracking shows “delivered” but you did not receive the parcel:

  1. Check with household members, neighbors, building management, and any parcel lockers or mailrooms.
  2. If the parcel is still missing, contact us and the carrier within 7 days of the “delivered” scan.

Once a parcel is marked as delivered by the carrier, risk of loss generally passes to the customer.

We will assist with investigations but cannot guarantee compensation in every case.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Shipping & Delivery Policy from time to time.

Any changes will apply to orders placed after the date of the update.
