Shipping Policy

Thank you for shopping with DiamondBaseJP. This Shipping Policy explains how we handle shipping, delivery estimates, duties, taxes, customs fees, import-related charges, and U.S. inquiry-based orders.

DiamondBaseJP is a Japan-sourced baseball gear store serving customers in Canada and the United States. All orders are sourced, prepared, and shipped from Japan.

Canada checkout is currently available. U.S. orders are currently available by inquiry only while DiamondBaseJP tests duty-prepaid / DDP shipping options with Japan Post and Zonos Prepay.

1. Shipping Destinations

Canada

Canada checkout is currently available.

For Canada orders, shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight, and available shipping methods.

United States

U.S. orders are currently available by inquiry only while DiamondBaseJP tests duty-prepaid / DDP shipping options with Japan Post and Zonos Prepay.

At this time, U.S. customers may not be able to complete standard checkout directly on the website. If you are located in the United States and would like to order, please contact DiamondBaseJP before placing an order so we can confirm shipping availability, estimated duties, import-related charges, and total cost.

2. Processing Time

Order processing time may vary depending on product availability, supplier stock, size, color, and whether embroidery, customization, special sourcing, or other additional services are requested.

Most non-custom orders are processed after payment confirmation and supplier availability has been checked. If an item becomes unavailable after your order is placed, DiamondBaseJP will contact you with available options.

For embroidered, customized, special-order, or sourced-on-request items, additional processing time may be required.

3. Canada Shipping

For Canada orders, DiamondBaseJP currently ships from Japan using Japan Post International ePacket Light or another available shipping method when appropriate.

Estimated delivery time is typically around 14–21 business days after the order has been processed and shipped. Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on customs processing, postal delays, destination, weather, holidays, and carrier conditions.

DiamondBaseJP aims to use tracked shipping methods whenever available. Tracking details will be provided when your order ships.

4. U.S. Shipping by Inquiry Only

U.S. shipping is currently handled on a limited inquiry basis.

For U.S. inquiry orders, DiamondBaseJP may ask for the following information before providing a quote:

  • Product name or product link

  • Preferred size and color

  • Embroidery request, if any

  • Shipping ZIP code and state

  • Customer name and contact information

After reviewing the request, DiamondBaseJP may provide a custom quote that includes the product cost, shipping cost, estimated duties, import-related charges, and any applicable handling or processing adjustments.

U.S. inquiry orders will generally be handled through a custom invoice or Shopify Draft Order. Full payment is required before sourcing, customization, embroidery, or shipment begins.

5. Shipping Costs

For Canada orders, shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the destination, package weight, and available shipping methods.

For U.S. inquiry orders, shipping costs and import-related charges will be estimated and confirmed before payment whenever possible.

Shipping costs are non-refundable once an order has been shipped, unless otherwise required by applicable law or unless the issue was caused by DiamondBaseJP.

6. Duties, Taxes, Customs Fees, and Import Charges

Duties, taxes, customs fees, import charges, carrier-related fees, or other import-related costs may apply depending on your country, order value, product category, shipping method, and local regulations.

These charges are the customer’s responsibility unless they are included in a confirmed duty-prepaid / DDP quote provided by DiamondBaseJP before payment.

For Canada orders, import-related charges may be collected by customs, postal services, or carriers upon delivery or during customs clearance.

For U.S. inquiry orders, DiamondBaseJP may estimate and collect prepaid duties and import-related charges before shipment when required for duty-prepaid / DDP shipping. Any quote provided before shipment is based on the information available at that time and may be subject to adjustment if product details, declared value, shipping method, or regulations change.

7. Embroidered, Customized, and Special-Order Items

Embroidery availability depends on the glove model, size, color, wrist strap space, supplier availability, and customization requirements.

Please contact DiamondBaseJP before ordering if you want embroidery added to batting gloves.

For embroidered, customized, special-order, or sourced-on-request items, full payment may be required before sourcing, customization, or embroidery begins.

Once processing, sourcing, embroidery, or customization has started, changes, cancellations, returns, or exchanges may not be possible.

8. Delivery Delays

DiamondBaseJP is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, postal or carrier delays, weather, holidays, incorrect shipping information, failed delivery attempts, import inspections, or other circumstances outside our control.

If your package appears delayed, please contact DiamondBaseJP and we will help review the available tracking information where possible.

9. Incorrect or Incomplete Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout or before invoice payment.

DiamondBaseJP is not responsible for packages delayed, returned, or lost due to incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.

If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, refusal, unpaid import charges, or failed delivery attempts, additional shipping charges may apply to resend the package.

10. Lost, Returned, or Refused Packages

If a package is returned to DiamondBaseJP due to refusal, unpaid duties or import charges, failed delivery attempts, or incorrect address information, any refund or reshipment will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Original shipping charges, return shipping charges, customs fees, import fees, and processing costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.

Customized, embroidered, special-order, or sourced-on-request items may not be eligible for refund if the package is refused or returned due to customer-related reasons.
